“ PARKING: Plenty of parking! No need to fight anyone over one unless you want a close spot. SEATING: Plenty of seating and it's a quick turn over rate as I'm sure people are shopping as well. Lots of beautiful lighting through those open windows! SERVICE: Always prompt and quick! They're always so efficient and I get nervous sometimes even though I always get the same thing. FOOD: I got a plate of Swedish Meatballs! Come on Fridays and you get 50% off any of the hot meals! Definitely a steal at that price. I wish I could have an endless amount of the gravy and the lingonberry jam. Amazing really!! Meatballs are always tender and the mashed potatoes are so fluffy! OVERALL: Never had a bad experience here and I hope I never will. IKEA's cafe remains number one to me by far for a furniture store cafe. ”
“ For me, nostalgia is what this place is all about! And to share it with my family is just a fun experience for us all. First off, IKEA is a place where comfortable shoes are a must. You need to walk around and around just to find the exit and build an appetite. Parents, bring the strollers and water bottles. Be prepared to see fun toys. The store itself was clean for 6 pm at night. The bathrooms were ok. But do appreciate the family oriented details like seating area with projected games. The dining hours vary so check before you come out. There weren't many people on the floor to help, I think ngit time, workers are just over it and ready to go home, which I understand. Luckily, we didn't need their help and hubby can get around quite well. ”
“ We love stopping by the Ikea Restaurant each time we visit Ikea. This location no longer offers family deals. The best offer is to come on a Tuesday for any hot meal for $3.99. Ambiance is really nice and bright. Staff is very friendly. We always order their Swedish meatballs plate. They are absolutely delicious. We tried the new item, Garlic Lemon Cod that came with peas and mashed potatoes. It was delish. Our favorites addons: garlic toasts, cornbread, and veggie medallions In the past, we tried salmon, chicken tenders, and vegetarian meatballs but not the plant-based one yet. The rainbow cake slice was too sweet and very dry. Overall, we enjoyed our dishes. ”
“ I can't believe that I have not written a review for Ikea Restaurant because we've been to Ikea Restaurant many times. I used to work in Covina and I went there so often. I always like their Swedish meatballs and their salmon salad. I love their idea that they have a restaurant while you are shopping for furniture or household items. The restaurant is mainly a self-serve cafeteria. They have daily restaurant deals for IKEA Family members for a while already. Monday: 8-piece veggie and plant ball plates for $3. Tuesday: Get any hot entree for $3.99. Wednesday: Get two free kid's entrees when you buy one adult entree. Thursday: Get $1 off Swedish meatballs. Friday: All customers get 50% off all adult hot entrees. Every day: Get 15% off Swedish Restaurant purchases after 5 p.m. I took my daughters one time on Wednesday after school for afternoon tea and both of them were free and I only bought one adult entree (only on Wednesday). We also went there on a Friday because they were off school. I always like their Swedish meatballs with gravy and lingonberry sauce (I like sweet & savory taste), and mashed potatoes with a lot of gravy. Chicken tenders were big and crispy. Mac N Cheese was also pretty good. However, we all didn't like their rainbow cake. It looked attractive but tasted not good and it was way too sweet. It's also nice to take a walk after eating. Ikea is huge enough to walk and shop around and we always find something there. Ikea restaurant food is like comfort food to me. That's why I give them 4 stars. hint: It's very easy to join IKEA FAMILY members and it's FREE to join. Just check out their website and click on "Join Ikea Family" and fill in the information. Some benefits include they have special offers occasionally, 90-day price protection and you can save on select delivery options with some restrictions apply. P.S. By the way, you can also order for to-go. They will provide boxes for you. We always get their frozen yogurt or soft serve ice-cream downstairs close to the escalator before we leave Ikea. You can order the yogurt from the touchscreen kiosk there now. ”
“ Dining experience is always inviting and full of light. The menu items don't change much but they often roll out seasonal limited time deals or specific items. Mostly a serve yourself cafeteria, the place is spacious with a nice view of the mountains. I really love the natural sun lighting, and the tables are clean here. Comfortable seating. Bathroom is around the corner as usual. The only thing about the meal is, the meatballs are pretty salty. I think maybe they're made this way and with the gravy on top even more salty. Perhaps for the next roll out consider making healthier alternatives like cutting down salt. ”
“ The IKEA restaurant cafeteria is iconic! The meatballs are what everyone raves about. I came on a Friday and didn't know that they have Hej Fridays.(50% off all hot items) Each plate was only $4.99 which was an insane deal. I tried out three different plates. Swedish meatballs - It's soft and delicious. You can't go wrong especially if you get the half off price! (5/5) Garlic Lemon Cod - Surprisingly this was delicious as well. Fish was flakey and had a nice crust. For the $5 price tag you can't complain! (5/5) Chicken tenders - This looked sus but tasted pretty good, especially if you drench it with sauce. Another steal for $5. (4/5) A solid place to grab pretty good affordable food and also do some shopping after. Definitely loved the cafeteria type vibe, really reminded me of school. ”
“ I love this place and their Swedish Meatballs. It's so good with gravy, cranberry, mashed potatoes and peas. I got the eight piece meatball for $9.99. They also have the 12 piece for $11.99 and 16 piece for $12.99. I thought the prices were great until someone told me they used to be around $7. Wow, that would be even better, lol. I also added on a drink at check out. I believe it was $2. Drinks are unlimited and you can sample all their different drinks. They don't have the standard fountain drinks from Pepsi or Coke. They have their own IKEA drinks. I tried their Cola and it was different. I didn't really care for it. Maybe I'm used to Coke. Someone in front of me got the Lingonberry drink. I got that instead and really liked it. They have a huge dining area that overlooks the parking and the Jollibee building. I didn't even know that Jollibee had their own building. I wonder if that's their headquarters. Anyways, I love their fried chicken. ”
